On August 10, 2024, Elizabeth and Jane reunited in uptown Saint John. What Elizabeth didn’t yet know was that a tall, handsome man—with a man bun, a bright patterned shirt, and an outback hat—was about to change her life.What followed could only be described as an unforgettable first date. Between hiking, swimming, and beginning to truly get to know one another, something special took root. The rest of the summer unfolded with ease as their connection deepened, and they found themselves falling in love along the Kingston Peninsula.As summer gently faded into fall, their love continued to grow—steady and natural. Their days were filled with road trips, concerts, home-cooked meals, bowling nights, hikes, and the joy of meeting each other’s friends and families.Life together began to feel effortless, as their worlds softly intertwined.By the time Christmas arrived, they celebrated with a traditional Vickers gathering—full of food, laughter, and warmth. Soon after, they travelled to Athens, Ontario, where Elizabeth met the rest of the Rasenberg family, filling in a piece that had been waiting to fall into place.Through it all, Elizabeth and Kristian have become not only partners, but best friends—steady, joyful, and deeply connected. And as their journey continues, this is only the beginning of a story that is truly theirs.Our story is our own.If you are here, it means you are important to us, past, present, and future. We wouldn’t be the people we are today without you, and we are so pleased to celebrate this, the most important day of our lives, with you. Thank you for being a part of our story.

Adam and Kristian met in Nunavut in 2022 and have been friends ever since. From their first tundra hikes to bonfires by the sea, Adam has truly been a friend to lean on and confide in. He is, in every sense, a true best man.

Michael is the oldest brother of the three boys. He is a firefighter and always protects and looks out for those he loves. Michael is also getting married to Rebecca this August 2026.

Kohlin is an older brother. He and Kristian have been a pair since Kristian was born. They have played sports, coached basketball, and lived together throughout University. Kohlin and his wife, Tiffany, are expecting their second child this June.

Marc is brother-in-law to the Rasenberg boys, but has fit in with them since day one. Father to four incredible children, and husband to Jamie-Lee, the eldest of the Rasenberg family.

Thomas is Elizabeth's one and only brother and one of her best friends. It means a lot to the Bride and Groom to have him standing as a Groomsman on this special day.

Jane and I has been friends since early days of university.   We have transitioned from university kids in a basement trying to get through nursing school, to confidents, travel buddies and best friends. Jane embodies what it is to be a good friend and stay by someone.  It is only fitting that she is the maid of honour.

Mary is a true ray of sunshine!  They bonded over early days of emerg nursing and continue to support each other through the ups and downs.  Mary's fierce loyalty and friendship makes her the perfect Bridesmaids on this special day.

Cara and Elizabeth have been friends since day 1 of university. The two bonding over their same sense of humour, kindness and love of good time. Cara is a beautiful friend , I am proud to have her by my side.

Nancy first met Elizabeth as she was orientating her to the ER, both new nurses it was the blind leading the blind. We learned together and have been best of friends ever since. Nancy is a strong truehearted friend, quickly shown Elizabeth love and support. Truly grateful to have her by my side.

My soon-to-be sister-in-law is someone I truly admire. As the oldest of four and the only girl she naturally leads with strength, kindness, and grace. She’s a wonderful role model, not only within her family but to everyone lucky enough to know her. Her caring nature and steady presence make such a difference in the lives around her. I feel so grateful to be gaining her as a sister, and I’m so excited to officially become family.

Saint John Habourfront Hotel is located on the boardwalk in the heart of uptown. It is approxiametly 15minute drive to our wedding location. We have blocked off a number of rooms, please book under Rasenberg/Vickers. Shadow Lawn Inn has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Rothesay. The 4-star inn has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom and free WiFi. The property has room service, and luggage storage for guests. At the inn, rooms include a desk. Certain rooms have a kitchenette with a fridge and a microwave. At Shadow Lawn Inn, each room comes with a seating area. Guests at the accommodation can enjoy a continental breakfast. Stonehammer Geopark is 11 miles from Shadow Lawn Inn, while University of New Brunswick Saint John is 10 miles from the property. Saint John Airport is 6.8 miles away.
